As an international student, navigating the workplace and knowing your rights can be especially challenging. Labour law systems differ from country to country – which is exactly why it’s important to understand the legal framework in Austria.
Today, a large proportion of students are employed. That’s why the Austrian Chamber of Labour provides advice on topics such as employment contracts, wages and salaries, working hours, sick leave, and care leave – and supports you in enforcing your rights.
What to expect:
- In this event, you’ll learn everything working students in Austria should know: from the basics of labour law to practical tips for your everyday work life.
- Of course, there will also be plenty of time to address your individual questions.
